Hi! I'm Jess, an experienced pet sitter and passionate dog walker with over 20 years of experience working with animals. My love for animals has spanned my entire life, and I've always been fascinated by the way they think, communicate, and interact with each other and with humans. Over the years, I've gained a wealth of experience caring for pets of all kinds, including dogs, cats, and horses. at a young age, I had the opportunity to rescue animals alongside my aunt Patrice. This experience exposed me to different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and instilled in me a deep appreciation for their well-being. During the summers, I worked on my aunt's dairy farm, further expanding my understanding of livestock animal care.In high school, I had the privilege of working at an animal boarding facility where I had the opportunity to learn from an experienced animal behaviorist. This invaluable experience allowed me to enhance my knowledge of animal behavior and apply it to my work as a pet sitter and dog walker. I also gained hands-on experience training both dogs and horses, further honing my skills in understanding their unique needs and behaviors.For the past 11 years, I have been dedicated to working for a 501(c)(3) non-profit horse and dog rescue organization. In this role, I have been involved in a wide range of responsibilities, including rehabilitating and training animals, caring for wounds and extensive medical issues, along with administering medications. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with some Amazing veterinarians and I’ve developed a strong rapport with them.This invaluable experience has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and a tremendous amount of hands-on experience in dealing with a wide range of medical procedures. Assisting with these procedures and treatments has allowed me to gain extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in providing comprehensive care.

I have a vast knowledge of different species and their unique needs and behaviors, making me comfortable with pets of all breeds and sizes.

As a pet sitter, my goal is to provide the highest level of care and attention to each and every animal in my care. Whether I'm stopping by to feed and play with a cat or spending several days or weeks with a dog while their owners are away, I always prioritize the animal's needs. I go above and beyond to ensure that each pet receives specialized care tailored to their unique personality and requirements. This includes administering medications and providing specialized care for pets with special needs or health conditions. I believe that every animal is different, and I take the time to get to know them personally.

My natural ability to connect with dogs and my love for them has made this profession a perfect fit. I started offering dog walking services to help busy pet owners who were unable to take their dogs out for regular walks. My focus is on providing quality care and attention to each dog I walk, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

When I'm not dedicating my time to caring for my clients animals, I enjoy spending quality moments with my own two rescue dogs, Jack and Aiden, as well as my two horses, Drago and Enzo.
