PSI's History 

During our 19-year history in the U.S. and abroad, we have both pioneered the professional pet-sitting industry and been a leading voice in educating the pet-owning public on the advantages of hiring a professional pet sitter. We have also assisted many aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a pet-sitting business.     

From the founding of our organization in March 1994 by Patti J. Moran, author of Pet Sitting for Profit, to the 2012 Quest for Excellence convention, PSI has served pet sitters with a myriad of products, services and events.
