Our History During our 16-year history in the U.S. and abroad, we have both pioneered the professional pet sitting industry and been a leading voice in educating the pet-owning public on the advantages of hiring a professional pet sitter. We have also assisted many aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a pet sitting business.
From the founding of our organization in March 1994 by Patti J. Moran, author of Pet Sitting for Profit, to the fifteenth annual Quest for Excellence convention in February of 2010, PSI has served pet sitters with a myriad of products, services and events.
