Jackie Graybeal(615) 781-4968pawsitivelyhappypet@yahoo.com | My HistoryAnimals, animals, animals!I can't imagine any joy greater than working with animals. In order to meet my goal of working with animals, I attended a community college in California, earning an AA in Liberal Arts. While attending college, I volunteered at my local zoo for 3 years until I learned of a "zoo school" in Florida. I packed up my furry family members and headed for Gainesville, Florida. I graduated from Santa Fe Community College with an AS in Zoo Animal Technology in August 2003. After graduation, I worked as a Zookeeper at San Antonio Zoo in Texas. I worked with a large variety of animals including felines, primates and bears during my 3+ years at San Antonio Zoo. While working at the Zoo, I desired a second income, but still wanted to work with animals. I began working for a pet sitting company and discovered how rewarding it is to care for other people's furry/feathered family members. I moved to Nashville in March 2007 to be a Carnivore Keeper at the zoo. I love it! Now, with the knowledge I received from a successful pet sitter in TX, I am ready to begin my own business as a professional pet sitter, in addition to being a Zookeeper. Happy Tails!"I can always count on Jackie to be reliable and courteous. She always exceeds my expectations with her animal background and commitment to my critters. Pet care is no longer a stress of being away from home." -Robin McKeown"Traveling without our pets has always been a stress for us until we met Jackie. She is so great with our animals as well as being extremely organized and very professional. When we returned home, our pets looked happier and better taken care of than when we left! We were ecstatic. We came home to a very detailed daily report and a special toy which was such a nice touch. We can now leave home knowing our pets and home are in excellent hands without any worries. I would recommend Jackie to everyone I know. She is fantastic! -Krystal Pennington "...the kitties are doing great and we are so pleased with how well they were taken care of. We will definitely call you the next time we leave town and refer anyone looking for a pet-sitter." - Caroline P. "I was going to be gone for 13 hours a day, and I was worried about leaving my 1-year-old puppy, Gracie Allen, alone all day. A friend was using Jackie's services for the same reason and gave me her e-mail. From the start, Jackie was flexible about our meeting time and very organized. She had all the information for me (references, card, etc.) ready, and was prepared to obtain the information she needed to best help me get the most out of her services. Jackie familiarized herself with Gracie Allen and her routine, as well as my wishes, and took great care of Gracie Allen. She gave me a report each day so I was aware of what was going on, and I know Gracie Allen enjoyed the visits! I was glad when my schedule changed so I could have more time with my dog, but I am so grateful that I was able to trust Jackie with her! I would and plan to recommend Jackie to anyone in need of pet sitting services. Thank you!!" | |
