"Tricks of the Trade:” Whenever I have a very shy pet who just doesn’t know what to think of me I ignore them…I go about my work and since I’m not talking to them or looking at them they get curious and usually warm up to me the same day.
Favorite Dog Name: Lilly…she is my business namesake!

Favorite “Alternative” Pets: Horse
Favorite “Downtime” Activity: Every Sunday morning my husband and I go walking at one of our metro parks and I take photographs of whitetail deer and any other wildlife that we see…it’s my favorite time of the week.
Best Pet-Sitting Experience: I love it when animals are shy at first then after a couple visits they are like “I LOVE this lady! She feeds me and pets me and plays with me.”
What accomplishment are you most proud of: Starting my own business and having it become a successful one
What kind of car would you drive if money were not an object? I really want one of the newer Ford Thunderbirds…black with a black leather interior and it has to be a convertible.
What is your “Dream Vacation?” I would love to own a cottage on a lake. My husband and I love the outdoors and we could take the dogs to a cottage with us.
What does your PSI Membership mean to you? I love being a member of a professional organization that is so helpful and informative. PSI encourages us to be the best pet sitters we can be and gives us the resources to do just that. Finish this sentence: “If I hadn't become a pet sitter, I never would have… ask me this question about a year from now and I am sure I will have some form of an adventure to tell you about.
