“Tricks of the Trade:” Always have a backup of everything in the back of your car - from first aid supplies to an extra pair of sneakers!
Favorite Dog Name: Katie (my dog's name)
Favorite Cat Name: Hazelnut (only given to a kitty with hazel/green eyes and a crazy personality)
Favorite “Alternative” Pet: If parrots are considered “alternative” pets - that would be my ultimate favorite. (I own an African Grey.) Sugar gliders and ferrets would be cool too - but it's illegal to own them in California.
Favorite “Downtime” Activity: Scrapbooking, card-making and quilting
Best Pet-Sitting Experience: There is a cat that I've been sitting for since I started my business two years ago. She used to hiss and bat at me when I'd walk by – or even look at her! I thought she would never come around! This same cat recently became my best friend - she follows me around while I do my pet-sitting chores and patiently waits until I finish so she can have some scratches and “head-butt” time!
What accomplishment are you most proud of? Quitting my office job of 18 years to start my pet-sitting business full-time! It was a big step, but I have great clients and the work is very rewarding!
What kind of car would you drive if money was not an object? A burgundy red, 1969 Camaro Z/28 with dual black stripes and a 396 under the hood

What does your PSI Membership mean to you? Integrity - both in business and caring for clients and their pets
