Likes: Live music, endurance cycling, cooking, puppy playgroups, waking up early, city life and community involvement
Dislikes: Dishonesty, angry drivers, litter and political campaign commercials
Favorite Colors: Purple and blue
Favorite Foods: Spinach, cheese, raspberries and pretzels in any form
Favorite Movie: Grease 2
Favorite Song: Hold On, Hold On by Neko Case
"Tricks of the Trade:" Leaving a narrative note on what you did that day is the best "sales pitch" a pet sitter can have. Never skip out early - in fact, give the client’s pet extra time when you can and always let the owner know that you did so.
Favorite Dog Names: Alfredo, an American bulldog mix, Winston, a bearded collie and Biggs, a dachshund
Favorite Cat Names: Mouse, Moxie and Garfunkel
Favorite "Alternative" Pet: Hamster – much to my family's chagrin!
Favorite "Downtime" Activity: Cycling, listening to live music, going to film festivals and cooking
Best Pet-Sitting Experience: Looking in my rear-view mirror and seeing happy dogs on their way to a playgroup, ears and tongues flopping in the wind.
What accomplishment are you most proud of? Bicycling half the length of Alaska to raise money for AIDS research
What kind of car would you drive if money were not an object? 1930's or 40's Roadster
What is your "Dream Vacation?" All vacations are pretty great – but I did just get back from a month in Australia.
What does your PSI Membership mean to you? Educational opportunities, networking, building my client base. I have received many clients from the Web site listing. It also gives me "street cred.” :)
Finish this sentence: "If I hadn't become a pet sitter, I never would have… (I could answer this question in a million different ways) owned my own business, had as many wonderful people and furry creatures in my life, learned pet CPR, loved little dogs...and much more!”

Favorite quote:
