About Us

Pet Care By Jennifer is a team of 2: Jennifer and husband David. We are both fully licensed, bonded and insured and are dedicated to the safety and comfort of animals as well as the peace of mind of their owners.

We take care of many types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, small rodents, fish and even some farm animals such as goats.

Our Reason for Sitting

We LOVE animals, and wish to provide an affordable alternative to boarding, where your pet may not be happy or comfortable. We are dedicated to the safety, well-being, comfort and happiness of pets. As pet owners, we are all that the animal has. They depend on us to take care of them. That's what we do. As pet lovers, Jennifer and Dave love knowing that the pets are safe, happy and loved.
Jennifer has a special bond with animals, often having a shy, otherwise introverted dog or cat come right up to her, much to the amazement of the owner! Animals know who other animals lovers are. They can sense who's being real or not.

We have met so many wonderfully unique people and view them as extended family, as well as the animals we care for. Watching a puppy or kitten grow up right in front of you is something magical and wonderful.
We have many happy clients who will provide referrals. Just ask Jennifer for some names! Referals are happily provided upon request.

Rate Schedule

Jennifer is available 7 days a week, including holidays. I am also available mornings, afternoons and evenings as well as overnights.

The initial consultation at your home is free of charge. This is where we meet each other and I can be shown around the home and told what is to be done. The key and alarm code (if necessary) are obtained at this meeting.

Each visit is approximately 35-45 minutes long and is $18. During this time the pet gets exercise, water, food, medicine if necessary, and personal time. This charge is for the first 3 pets. There is an additional $2 charge after for each additional large pet.

Overnights are typically from 8p.m. until 8a.m. the next morning. The rate is $60.

HOLIDAYS: There is no additional charge per visit for each holiday visit.

CANCELLATION FEE: If we are notified of cancellation within 72 hours of the first scheduled visit no fees will be charged. If less than 72 hours is given, then 50% of fees will still be due. If less than 24 hours or no notice is given, all standard fees will still be charged. Your timeslot was occupied by you and could not be given to another client. There can be exceptions to this, but will be handled on a case-by-case basis. br>

Payments accepted are cash and check. Checks are to be made out to Jennifer Stevens. For new clients, a deposit is required at time of hire, generally 50 %. Full payment is expected at the return of the owner unless other arrangements have been made.
