PSI Accreditation Program Credits
PSI Accredited Pet Sitters can earn Approved Credit Units (ACUs) toward renewal of their certification. The optional workshops are available for ACUs, as noted in the Schedule of Events.
Each general session and breakout session on Friday and Saturday will count as one (1) ACU per session. For the Quest presentations and breakouts, a total of eight (8) ACUs may be earned by attending all general sessions and participating in two breakout sessions each afternoon on those two days.
For PSI members planning to enroll in the Accreditation Program, discounts may be earned by attending the Optional Workshops indicated above. Enrollment in one workshop earns a $25 discount; two or more earns a $50 discount.

I have already purchased the PSI Accreditation Program. Am I eligible for the Accreditation Coursework Discount if I attend the optional workshops at Quest 2009?
The Accreditation Coursework Discount is designed for PSI members who have not yet purchased the Accreditation Program. The discount is offered to Quest 2009 optional workshop attendees who sign up for Accreditation at or after the conference. However, if you are already Accredited or currently completing the coursework, these optional workshops provide approved credit units towards your Accreditation renewal and your attendance is strongly encouraged.
Which optional workshops make me eligible for the Accreditation Coursework Discount?
You can receive the Accreditation Coursework Discount for attending the Customer Service, Pet Sitter Safety and/or Disaster Planning optional workshops. Both the Customer Service and Disaster Planning sessions are offered on Wednesday, February 18, and Thursday, February 19. The Pet Sitter Safety workshop is offered on Thursday, February 19.
