What do I get the cat?
'Tis the season for sharing, gift giving and unsuspecting snacks left unattended on the table. (Why those silly humans of mine don't use Tupperware®, I'll never know. But their lack of foresight has provided me and my chubby house mate with lots of goodies over the years!)
Speaking of my rotund roommate, have I introduced the bane of my existence?
Meet Gumdrop, an eating and shedding powerhouse. Don't ask me how he does it, but this cat can beat me to the food bowl and the counter every time! And don't even get me started about him hogging my human's lap...or the giant hairball he left on my doggie bed! AAAARRRGH!
But in the spirit of the Christmas season (and on the advice of my 'life coach') I have decided to overlook his shortcomings and get him a Christmas gift. (Now if this doesn't buy me time on my human's lap, I don't know what will!) Here are the gifts I plan on getting him...but if you can think of something more appropriate, don't hesitate to write!
8-in-1 Kookamunga Crunchy Catnip Treats What can I say? Big G likes catnip...and he REALLY likes treats. The Kookamunga brand is high in protein and essential fatty acids. (More fatty acids, that is just what he needs!) The treats are also filled with zesty bits of catnip - which really mellows him out and temporarily distracts him from my dog dish. (And it is inexpensive too!)
Another gift that I was thinking about (since Gumdrop so kindly left that wet furry chunk of cat hair in my bed) is the Mark & Chappell Defurr-UM Treats for Cats. These easy-to-feed treats help to prevent gooey hairballs and taste great. (I must admit, I have eaten a few.) It may seem like a tacky gift - from a feline point of view - but for all of you dogs out there, who live with cats, (and experience the same nightmare I do when crawling into your doggie bed) I think this is a bonafide gift.
Ok, folks, I have found the perfect gift! The Petmate Attract-O-Dome cat bed is an electrostatically-charged bed (for all of you balloon enthusiasts!) that traps cat hair, dander and dust! You can't beat that with a stick!
That being said, I give these products two paws up!
