2009 Take Your Dog To Work Day Video Contest Rules2009 Take Your Dog To Work Day® Video Contest Rules 1. This contest is open to all active residents of the United States. Only one entry per person is allowed. 2. Videos submitted must meet the file size criteria outlined by Facebook. Videos should be two minutes or less and show your dog/dogs at work. Please be sure you have permission for submission of the video from all individuals included. If your entry includes a video of pets or children who are not yours, please make sure you have permission from the parent or guardian for submission of the video and its use as described below. 3. 4. Entries may be posted on the Take Your Dog To Work Day Web site at www.takeyourdog.com or the Pet Sitters International Web site at www.petsit.com. Entry in the contest constitutes your permission for PSI to use your entry, name and information for promotional and/or publication purposes in the magazine, on the Web site and in other media. 5. Entries must be received no sooner than 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern time on March 15, 2009 and no later than 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern time on July 31, 2009. PSI is not responsible for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or sponsor. 6. Entries will be judged by a third party marketing agency for qualities that include impact, creativity, style, composition, presentation, center of interest, subject matter, technique and story telling. All decisions by the judges are final. 7. Winners will be notified by August 28, 2009. Prizes will be mailed to the winners via U.S. Mail service or commercial carrier. A list of winners will be posted on www.takeyourdog.com and on PSI’s Web site, www.petsit.com. A written list of winners may also be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to PSI 2009 Professional Pooch Contest Winners, 201 East King St., King, NC 27021. 8. All entries become the property of Pet Sitters International and may be used for future promotional purposes. By submitting your entry, you grant and transfer to Pet Sitters International, Inc. all rights, including copyright, trademark rights, rights of publicity or privacy, moral rights and any other rights, in and to the video, including the right to reproduce, edit, and distribute the video in any form or medium, without further permission or compensation, and authorize PSI to use your name, biographical information, and other indicia of identity in connection with advertising and promotional materials related to the PSI publications and events, including, but not limited to, local and national press releases, the PSI internet Web site, printed publications and other uses. By submitting your entry, you represent to PSI that you have the sole rights to authorize such use of the video and have the permission of all persons appearing in the video that PSI may use the video as described above without further obligation. By entering the contest, entrants agree that PSI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall have no liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.
