Dotty Shantz Quest Scholarship

This special PSI scholarship was established in honor of Dotty Shantz, who served PSI members in several positions from the day PSI opened its doors on March 17, 1994, until her retirement in September 2005.

Dotty's commitment to PSI's goal of excellence in pet sitting was evident in the caring advice and support she provided to members and in her whole-hearted belief that educational and networking opportunities were the key to success.

To honor her legacy, the Dotty Shantz Quest Scholarship will allow one (1) PSI member to attend the annual convention with scholarship proceeds paying up to $1,000 in registration fees, travel costs and lodging.

PSI is now accepting nomination for the 2010 scholarship.

Applicants must be an active professional pet sitter and PSI member in good standing for the period of at least one (1) year.

The applicant should have worthy professional goals and show evidence of their contribution to the profession.

All applications must be received by midnight, December 1, 2009, to be considered.
