PSI's Pet Sitter of the Year™ Award

 Nominate your pet sitter for the industry's highest honor!

Pet Sitters International (PSI) members may be nominated for this prestigious title by customers, pet-sitting peers and other industry professionals, such as veterinarians.

Nominations for the 2013 award will be accepted June 1, 2013 through October 31, 2013.

The 2013 award is sponsored by Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

A judging panel will evaluate nominations. The following criteria is taken into account during the judging process:

• Variety of nominations; i.e. clients, fellow sitters, veterinarians, etc.
• The substance and quality of the nominations
• Variety of clients serviced and services offered by the nominated pet sitter
• Experience with various species of pets
• Customer and pet satisfaction information provided by nominator

The Top Five Finalists will be asked to submit additional information and supporting documentation, including but not limited to:

• Adherence to ethics and PSI's Quality Standards
• Length of PSI membership
• Certification status
• Business Web site and promotional materials
• Public service and community involvement information
