If you're like me, you look forward to the opportunity Pet Sitters International's Take Your Dog To Work Day®, provides to introduce your co-workers to your pride and joy—your canine child! (Or in my case, my five pride and joys!) And you also appreciate the fun way this special day celebrates the great companions dogs make and encourages their adoption from humane societies, animal shelters and breed rescue clubs.
Our organization is thrilled with the way the dog-loving public has embraced our annual dog day event. We can't say enough about the caring and responsible pet owners who work to make PSI's Take Your Dog To Work Day a success. By encouraging your employers to participate and by following the recommended suggestions to make your workplace pawsitively pet-friendly on Friday, June 20, 2008, you are helping to ensure that dogs who need loving homes will be found by people who need their love. That's what it's really all about. In 2008, PSI, along with our friends, intends to make our celebration of a"decade of dogs at work" even better for dogs everywhere.
