Lindsey Wolko

Lindsey Wolko has spent more than 15 years driving one mission: pet products must be scientifically proven safe. After her own dog was injured by a harness marketed as “protective,” she founded Center for Pet Safety (CPS) to bring independent oversight to an unregulated industry and protect families from preventable harm. Her leadership has made CPS the global authority on pet product safety, with coverage from ABC World News Tonight, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, Wired, and more.

Center for Pet Safety is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit closing the pet‑safety gap through independent testing, trusted standards, consumer education, and data‑driven insights that shape product design and policy. Its innovations include the first Crash Test Dog, industry‑shifting crashworthiness research, the CPS Certified™ program, advanced injury biomechanics studies, investigations into product failures, and PAWS UP® for Safety, a national education initiative that empowers families and strengthens corporate accountability.
