About My Business

Ashland Pet Sitters has been providing professional pet and home care since April of 2010.

While working at another job someone asked if I knew someone who could take care of their pets. Yes! Me.

I then thought I might be able to do this full time. Down to Barnes and Noble I went to find a book on pet care and there it was; Pet Sitting For Profit by Pattie J. Moran! I followed that book step by step.

I started with 1 client in 2010. Now we serve 70.

I have learned, and am learning, so much about business, myself, and animals. I have grown in each subject.

This job has made me a better person in my relationships and in my community.

It is never the same. The weather is always changing and so am I.

I love what I do and the different friends I have made;

from human, furry, scaled, feathered, and shelled. Each connection I make with these creatures changes me for the better.

I am more compassionate and patient.

Being outside everyday brings me closer to nature.
