About My Business

A Walk in the Park is the Best of Bethesda 2015 recipient in the Dog Walking/Exercising & Pet Sitting category!

Daily Dog Walking & Exercising: Daily walks help to keep your dog fit, healthy, entertained, and on a regular schedule. We spend 15 or 30 minutes walking your dog as needed during the day. Your dog will enjoy a nice walk and potty break, receive a fresh bowl of water and a treat, and be comfortable while awaiting your return.

Pet Sitting: We visit your pets while you are out of town. We feed them, provide fresh water, play with them, give them exercise, clean up messes, and ensure that your pets have the attention they need. We can also bring in mail and newspapers, rotate lights, and take out garbage free of charge.

Pet Taxi - We will transport your pet to appointments with the vet, groomer, trainer, day care, or anywhere else!

Delivery of Food & Supplies - Leave the shopping to us! We are happy to deliver pet food, treats, kitty litter, and other supplies to your door.

Yard Waste Cleanup/Litterbox Service: When life keeps you busy, let us do the dirty work. You don't need a contract. Just ask us to scoop the poop from your yard or scoop your litterbox(es), and we will do it for a small fee (contact the office for details). The only thing we ask is that you provide the scoop (or shovel) and the trash bags.

We are a family run business since 1999. Our staff work for us, they are not independent contractors. We provide pet services from 7am-9pm, 365 days a year. We do not charge extra for am, pm, or holiday visits.
