About My Business

Hi, I’m Matty! Whether your favorite family member is furry, feathered, or finned - I will be your pet’s Totally PAWsome new best friend!

Growing up on a farm and in a large veterinary practice, I have been immersed in the world of animals from an early age—caring for dogs, cats, farm animals, and literally any animal I could get my hands on!

My wife and I share our lives with three incredible senior dogs: Luca Brasi, Angie, and Skyline. These three sweet pups are our world! We also have owned and maintained our own aquariums and fish for well over twenty years. We do not currently own, but have owned and loved numerous birds, rabbits, and various pocket pets (some exotic) throughout our lifetime.

Beyond being a Certified Professional Pet Sitter, I have taken additional courses and animal specific training through Pet Sitters International. I am also licensed and certified to Instruct Pet CPR, First Aid & Wellness curriculums for both pet parents and pet care professionals through PetTech® (PTI #2700). I am also licensed and registered as a Class T-Carrier (pet transporter) with the USDA (Certificate No. 58-T-1022). My pet services company is fully licensed, bonded, and insured for all our pet services.

I dedicate my free time volunteering with several local pet rescues including Tri-County Animal Shelter and Dachshund Rescue of South Florida (DRSF). Whether it is volunteering as a dog walker, new volunteer mentor, for fundraising/adoption events, or assisting with pet relocations – I believe it is extremely important to give back to my local South Florida community, but most importantly to provide, care, support and to advocate for all those pets in need!

Throughout my lifetime, I have developed extensive hands-on experience and knowledge working with a wide variety of animals. I possess a unique ability to connect with animals of different breeds, temperaments, and personalities, including pets that have anxiety from prior trauma and abuse. I also have a great deal of experience caring for seniors and specials needs pets, as well as medicine administration (including administering injections).
