About My Business

22 years ago the company I was working for sold the business. The new company decided they did not want a union so everyone was let go.

I did not want to go into an office environment again. I always loved animals and we always had a dog. So the pet sitting business was my #1 choice to get into. Not knowing how to start this, I made up some business cards, passed them out and before I knew it I had a couple of customers. I was so excited. I wanted to be the best dog walker and pet sitter you could ever want. So as of today, I have never missed one day of work in the 18 years I have been doing this. Really.

I make sure that every need is met with the animals. Cold water, wipe their feet on raining days or snow. Make sure the doors are locked securely when I leave. Or that the alarm is put back on. I write notes every day to the owner of what we did on our visit. And with a vacationer I write a letter for the whole time. Also mail and plants are taken care of as well.

I treat them as if they were my own dog. This is what I would want for my dog.

The dogs wait for me to come, they are in the window waiting. How cute.

And believe me I get very attached to all my furry friends. I love them and they love me.

On our visit, we either play in the yard or we go walking. Whatever the dog wants I do that.

When you love what you do, you will always do a good job.
