About My Business

Dog walking started for me in my neighborhood in grade school with my first client being Mandy, the Cocker Spaniel. Gradually the dog walking business grew and I soon was busy with many afterschool walks. Continuing into my teens, I was employed at a vet hospital for three years gaining a foundation of general pet knowledge and health care. I did think at one point that I would go into Veterinary Science, however after observing several surgeries, many containing large amounts of blood, I found that a better venue for me was being out of the operating room. I then made the switch to overnight live-in pet care in which I sit exclusively for one client at a time. I am set up in a guest room, I purchase groceries for my stay, and the house is given a general cleaning leaving it in pristine condition for my client's arrival home. My pet sitting is on a full-time basis with minimal time spent away from your home and pets. I have truly devoted my life to the care and comfort of dogs and cats. Office jobs were attempted but sitting at a desk doing emails and phones was so unfulfilling. My friends and family joke that if I am ever really ill, to take me to a veterinarian and not a doctor, because I am always kissing dogs, and cuddling with them, and always sleeping in the same bed with them. HA. They are convinced I will die from a canine disease. Please feel free to contact me to arrange a meet and greet to see if your pets and I are a good match.
