About My Business

Hello, my name is Bobbie. I am the owner of Pet's Daily Needs. We are a small, family run business operating in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth and Suffolk Virginia. Besides myself there is my husband,Carl, our daughter, Heather, and our grandson, Alex.

We have been in business for 5 years but have about 50 years experience between us and have loved every minute of pet sitting. Currently between our home and Heather's we have 5 dogs, 4 cats, a rat, 2 rabbits, 2 birds and an assortment of fish. One of our dogs we "inherited" when one of our customers had to move to Italy for work. If space would allow we would have more pets. Being able to care for your pets allows us to do that. That is the reason we love what we do.

Heather is trained in animal first aid and is CPR certified. She has worked as a Veterinarian Assistant, The Virginia Rabbit Rescue and has volunteered with Wildlife Response for 15 years. She had a permit to rehab wildlife for 12 years. For 3 years she worked with the Virginia Beach SPCA. She is sharing her knowledge with us and making our job easier. The rest of us are working on expanding our knowledge of animal first aid and getting our CPR certification.

Our company is a member of Pet Sitter International. We are also Licensed, Bonded and Insured. As well as mid-day and vacation/business visits we offer a lot of other services as well. We offer pick up and drop off services (to the Vets or to the groomers),we bring in your mail, take your trash can to the curb and bring it back in as well as other services. Our fees are very reasonable and we offer Military and Senior Citizen discounts. We also have contingency plans in case of emergencies. We have also been known to cover for other pet sitters when they have been unable to due to unforeseen circumstances.
