About My Business

I've been caring for cats professionally for over eight years. What began as part-time work eventually grew into a full-time job. During that time, I've completed more than 1,000 reservations, earned over 350 five-star reviews, and built lasting relationships with hundreds of cats and their people throughout Chicago.

After nearly a decade caring for cats through established pet care platforms, I launched The Cat Whiskerer in April 2026 to create something of my own: a small, independent business centered entirely around the kind of care I'd want for my own cats—calm, reliable, and tailored to each household.

My approach is simple: respect each cat's routine, move at their pace, and provide thoughtful, consistent care while you're away. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers to observe from a distance, I believe trust is earned through patience, predictability, and attention to detail.

I'm comfortable administering medications, including pills, eye drops, insulin injections, and inhalers. If your cat has any specific medical needs, feel free to reach out with questions.

Caring for your cats—and having access to your home—is a responsibility I don't take lightly. I'm fully bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates, background checked (available upon request), and a CPPS-Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International.

My goal is to provide dependable, trustworthy care so you can leave home with confidence, knowing your cats are safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.
