About My Business

Founded in 2005, Creature Companion is a professional, personalized at-home pet sitting service based in Cornish, NH that provides care for household and barnyard pets. Creature Companion serves Cornish and Plainfield, NH, Windsor, VT and the surrounding towns of the Upper Valley. The mission at Creature Companion is to provide the best, personalized, at-home care to all creatures served in their own comfortable environment; to improve the lives of animals while their family is away; and to ease the feelings of worry and guilt felt by family when their pets cannot accompany them.

With home visits, pets remain in their own comfortable, secure surroundings among familiar sights, sounds, and smells. To help relieve stress felt by your pets, these visits aim to follow their routine as closely as possible. You don’t have to worry about transporting your pet to a facility or imposing on family/friends/neighbors to help. You can put your mind at ease knowing that your cherished pets are getting the loving, personalized attention they need while you are away.

Contact me to arrange a free initial consultation in your home. This required visit allows everyone to get acquainted. You decide how often and for how long you would like your visit to be. Also at this time, instructions specific to your pets’ care and your home can be reviewed as well as the service contract. This will ensure that your pets receive the best possible care while you are out. I’m happy to meet with you if you are looking for a dog walker, cat sitter, or someone to provide care for your barnyard or exotic pets. Care can be arranged as a one-time visit, a series of visits, or on a regular basis.

I have a strong life-long love for animals and embrace the opportunity to share that with your own special creatures. I have lived in Cornish all my life and have made a home in town with my husband, our Great Pyrenees/Australian Cattle Dog mix, Sugar, and our orange Domestic Shorthair Tabby Cat, Mojo. I grew up with many cats, a dog, fish, and an iguana.

Whether you are vacationing, working, busy with life’s activities, ill, injured, or overwhelmed, I am here to help! To care for your pets as if they were my own is my promise to you.
