About My Business

At Home Away From Home, I provide loving care for your pet at my home or yours, at your convenience!

I have over 15 years’ experience caring for pets. I’m a former veterinary assistant, and a trained, registered and certified Pet Therapy Partner through the Delta Society, aka Pet Partners. I’ll administer medication to your pet as needed and provide care for any special needs. I am certified in canine CPR.

Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, fish, tortoises and waterfowl.

When caring for your pets during home visits, I’ll be happy to retrieve your mail and adjust blinds, drapes and lights as requested. I’m bonded and insured through Pet Sitters International.

For your pet’s continued health and safety, please provide me with your veterinarian’s contact information.

My fees are reasonable, and references are available upon request. Transportation for your pet within my local area is provided free of charge.
