WHO I AM:

Hello, my name is Anne Ross. I've shared my life with cats for over forty years. They are as essential to me as the air I breathe!

I'm a former vet tech and holistic health practitioner, as well as a seasoned, mature professional pet sitter. When I was twenty, I graduated from a Veterinary Assistant course and worked as a vet tech for several years. Along the way, I became a licensed holistic health professional, working with both animals and people. Later, I became a government employee. In 2019, I decided that I wanted to return to my first love-- working with cats! Bye bye boring government job! Hello kitties!

The deep connection I've always felt with cats led me to become involved in the rescue community. My cat Yanni and I have socialized over 35 rescued foster cats and kittens for Los Angeles area rescues. So I have lots of experience with shy kitties!

For several years I worked as a cat care specialist for Manhattan Beach’s premiere pet sitting company and at another cat-related service in West Hollywood. My clients’ comments revealed that there was a need for a holistically savvy pet sitting company focused solely on the unique needs of cats. I listen to my clients, so I founded The Cat Concierge to meet this need!

MY MISSION: To nurture the mind-body-spirit connection between people & cats by providing individualized cat sitting services to reduce stress, lonliness, and anxiety while enhancing comfort, safety and security.
