About My Business

I am owner and operator, servicing the north Animas Valley (South Dalton Ranch up to The Ranch) in Durango, Colorado, where I live and play.

A little about me...... My husband and I decided to retire in the late 90’s, so we moved to the Sierra Mountains of Northern California, and lived there for 17 wonderful years. While living there, I became busy volunteering in our community in various capacities. I have an immense love of animals, so I volunteered at a horse rescue, and then a pet rescue working with dogs helping to make them more adoptable, while also fostering a few as well. This is where I found my true passion. In 2012 I became an independent pet sitter, working with a friend who ran a pet sitting business in the area. Then in late 2015 we decided it was time to leave California and we moved to the area my parents had grown-up, and where I have family, Durango!

In 2016 I started my own solo pet sitting business, and have enjoyed making many new friends.

We live in the Animas Valley and have one very spoiled dog named Mindi, who allows us to live with her. She is a Morkie (Yorkie & Maltese mix), who is the light of our lives, and keeps us in shape with several daily walks.

Regarding my services...... Our first meet & greet is always free. We will get to know one another and allow your pets to make sure I pass their exacting standards. I will ask questions while you discuss your pets’ needs in order to develop a personalized plan for your pet.

A pet sitting visit will include fresh water and food if required, water bowl cleaning, playtime, poo scooping and litter box cleaning (if needed), health check, house security check, indoor plant watering, mail and paper retrieval, lights on/off, blinds open/closed, and email or text updates to you with pictures and/or video.

I very much look forward to providing my pet sitting services in the north Animas Valley area, while making some new two and four legged friends along the way!
