About My Business

Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am.

With over 33 years of hands-on animal care experience and 26 years as a law enforcement leader (now retired), I bring a rare combination of compassion, structure, and professionalism to every home I enter. My career was built on integrity, accountability, calm decision-making, and leadership under pressure — qualities that directly shape how we care for your pets and respect your home.

We are a dedicated team of two, and only the two of us will ever be in your home. We intentionally limit the number of families we serve at one time so each pet receives focused, personalized attention.

We are especially comfortable handling more complex pet care situations, including:

Every animal has a unique temperament and routine. Our priority is to maintain consistency, stability, and a calm environment so your pets feel secure while you’re away.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of breeds, ages, and behavioral challenges. I have completed NC Emergency Management training and Animal Behavior & Handling training. I have volunteered with Animal Protection Society of Durham and assisted with rescue transport for M.A.M.A.S on the Move.
