Hi, I’m Kristy,

The heart behind Fur The Love of Pets Pet Sitting LLC. My love for animals started at a very young age, helping with rescue efforts alongside my family. That early exposure to caring for animals in need grew into a lifelong passion. As an adult, I continued this work with my own children, volunteering with animal rescues and shelters, managing a rescue’s webpage, and photographing adoptable pets to help them find their forever homes. For over 11 years, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors — providing loving, dependable care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and even farm animals. Long before that, as a teenager and young adult, I helped my mom run her professional pet sitting business, learning firsthand what it means to treat each pet like family. Now, with Fur The Love of Pets, I’ve turned that lifelong love into a licensed, bonded, and insured business serving the Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Georgia areas. I believe every animal — no matter how big or small — is a unique and precious part of God’s creation, and I’m honored to care for them as if they were my own.
