About Megan:

I have lived here on the coast my entire life & my family has been here for generations. Animals have always been a huge part of who I am. I've raised many species, from cattle and horses to dogs and rabbits. In addition to my personal experience with caring for my own furry companions, I have provided professional pet care since 2012.

I have always envisioned myself working with animals, and with Sandy Paws, that dream has come true! My priority is each pet's safety, health & happiness. I am dedicated to providing the proper care for each and every pet. I enjoy learning about every animal's individual characteristics - their personalities & what will work best for them.

My ultimate goal is to ensure every pet is as comfortable with me as they are with their owners - a home away from home! I believe in caring for each companion as they are my own and will always work to give each pet the individualized attention and support they need. I appreciate the opportunity to work with your precious pets!

What my clients say:

"We had a wonderful experience with Sandy Paws Pet Care. As we vacationed in Hawaii we remained relaxed knowing our dog was in good hands. Our high energy yellow lab joined Megan on walks and doggie daycare. She made the daily pick up and drop off a very smooth and easy transition for our dog Charlie. We came home to a very happy and relaxed dog. We would gladly use her services any day. "

"Sandy Paws was a home away from home for my dog! If I could give 10 stars I would. Let me start off my saying my 7lb Yorkie is a sweet dog with people but doesn't really like being around other dogs. Megan handled this situation with great expertise. She made my dog feel very comfortable and made sure her well being was top priority. She really treated my dog as if it were her own, gave her the individual attention and love that she needed. She also took her on walks which my dog loved. My dog even cried a little when we picked her up and drove off. I could tell from the start that Megan had tons of experience with animals and truly has a gift for what she does. Her house has the perfect set up for a boarding/daycare business. The backyard area is perfect for dogs to run around and play in and then they can relax in the barn area as well. I didn't have to worry about my dog at all. Megan kept in constant contact with me and would send me pictures of my dog and really kept me informed the entire time. I can't say enough about Sandy Paws! I highly recommend Sandy Paws and will most definitely use Megan's services again!!!"
