our website.I remember my dog Brownie, he was just a dog, brown and white, full of life and the best friend of a four-year old boy. That was a long, long time ago. Brownie is gone, but my love for animals remains to this day.

I began Leads & Leashes, LLC in 2004 after a successful career in business, and I was determined to give the best possible service to both pets and their owners. Whether it is a daily dog walk, or care for an aging pet, a dog that needs insulin or a pat on the head, my goal is to give your pet what it needs to be comfortable while you are away. and so my motto, "Caring while you are away," is appropriate. I really do care. Ask my clients.

Leads & Leashes is a five time Angie's List Super Service Award winner and we provide you proof of insurance as well as references, as many as you like. And I am recommended by area veterinarians.

When you contract Leads & Leashes you are talking not only to the owner, but the one who does the work and can make any changes that might be necessary to enhance the quality of your pets care.

Time and affection are important to your pet and I am happy to give them plenty of both. Water is replenished on each visit, feeding done on its normal schedule, as well as exercise and playtime depending on your pets needs. I will also water plants, draw the blinds, bring in the mail or newspapers, all the things you have a right to expect.

Companion pets are the backbone of our business, but I have experience in the care of exotic pets such as birds, and even snakes, but our specialty is the care of horses. I have been a horse owner for thirteen years and I know how difficult it is to find someone who will remember to lock gates, apply fly spray, blanket and feed, water and perhaps groom, or less often, exercise them in your absence. Horses represent a huge emotional and financial investment and you will want an experienced horseman to care for them while you are away.
