About My Business

I am a local pet sitter in the Greater Houston area. I have been working with animals as long as I can remember. Since my early teens years, I used to take care of family and family friends pets, or neighbors pets. I knew since then, that I always wanted to work with animals. I then attended and graduated in 2013 from Houston Community College with a Veterinary Paramedic certificate. Eventually, I started working as a kennel technician in 2014 where I gained on the job training to become a veterinary assistant. I worked at various clinics, shelters, and rescues in order to gain experience. All while working in the veterinary field, I had the opportunity to be able to pet sit for clients whom felt that they did not want to board their pets at boarding facilities. I took in so many pet sitting duties from clients across the Houston area that I had to make the choice to either stick with veterinary medicine, or to pursue in expanding and focusing on pet sitting. In 2021, I finally made the decision to leave the veterinary field so I can focus with one-on-one care with clients’ fur babies without having to juggle between being at the vet office or having to lose my amazing relationships that I created from pet sitting. I have not looked back since and don’t regret anything. I am forever grateful for having to build something that I worked so hard and continue to grow from it.
