President Janice Rudd earned her BA at Rice University and MBA at the University of Chicago. After a career in oil and gas finance, she founded Scrub-A-Dub Dog Wash in 2002 and sold it in 2007. She has owned Australian shepherds since 1993.

Janice started Houston Bark and Call in the summer of 2012. Houston Bark and Call provides dog walking, pet and house sitting and pet transport near Rice University and surrounding areas. HBC has cared for dogs, cats, birds, rodents, reptiles and chickens. Janice is well versed in caring for older pets and administering medication--orally, by injection and transdermally.

Janice served on the board of the Houston BARC Foundation and was one of the organizers of the annual Bark for BARC Pet Walk.

Houston Bark and Call is bonded and insured.
