About My Business

Hi! I'm Mary Louden. I am both the owner and service provider of Dog Visits by Mary. What that means to you is that I will personally visit your dog. I will not send an employee or independent contractor. You will always know who is coming into your home. Your dog has the familiarity of one new companion, me.

I provide customized dog visits Monday thru Friday, 5 days a week. You select how I spend my time with your dog(s); walking, playing in the yard, or visiting. No extra charge for multiple dogs or walks. My flat rate fee is simply based on the time spent together, not the activity. My clients and their best furry friends have found me extremely dependable.

I am trustworthy, organized and dog savvy. In 2008, when I started this business, I was accredited (certified) by Pet Sitters International, the premiere worldwide organization of professional pet sitters. (The in depth curriculum I mastered is over 900 pages!) I am a "Fear Free" Certified Professional Pet Sitter. (So your dog remains as relaxed and happy as possible.) I am bonded, insured and trained in canine first aid. Special needs, shy, and senior dogs are precious to me!

Your dogs are happiest and most secure in the familiar environment of their own home while you are gone. Yet they benefit from the stimulation and comfort of a midday visit/walk. So when you can’t be there, I’m their next best friend! Thank you for entrusting the care of your dog to me.
