About My Business

One of the best decisions I ever made was to take a leap of faith and leave my stable but unfulfilling job. I finally found my true passion in caring for animals. It doesn't even seem like a job because it is so much fun. I am happily the the sole proprietor of a woman owned business and have been in the pet industry for almost four years. I specialize in overnight vacation care in the comfort of the your home. Your pets can stay in their own homes lowering their stress and keeping their routines. This also minimizes exposure too health conditions that pets can pick up in a kennel environment. I am the only care giver your pet will have when you are away. This helps to form a strong trusting bond between me and your pets. I also do daily pet care and dog walking. I love to exercise and taking walks. I also love throwing a ball or frisbee or playing with them and their favorite toys. Sometimes they just want to have a belly rub and I am happy to do that! I can't wait to meet your fur babies and promise to treat them like family! Here are what some of my clients have said about me and more can be found on my Google page for DogWalking by Jill.

"We have a high-energy pitbull who needs some extra love and attention with someone we can really trust! I was referred to Jill by some people who live in town and I’m SO happy we found her! She came and met our dog a week before their visit and she meshed with Barney immediately! I just knew we would be in good hands. She offers a wide range of services- from 30 minute visits to sleepovers! She really put us at ease and provided text updates and cute pictures with details of each visit. We are so lucky and highly recommend Jill!!

"We had complete confidence in Jill taking care of our dog Baxter while we were gone for eight days, and she did not disappoint. Jill came in daily to provide Baxter with water, treats and a walk and she also provided us with daily photos and updates via text and email. Our dog was thrilled to see her each time she came in and her obvious love for dogs was apparent. We feel she cared for Baxter as if he were her own. We would highly recommend Jill, a true trusted professional, for all of your pet care needs!"

"Jill is wonderful! I tend to be a helicopter “mom” to my pets so it was super important to me to find someone that I could trust to watch our animals. Jill has done dog walking for our six month old puppy, and most recently house sat and cared for our two kitties over the holidays. She is incredibly professional and takes the time to make sure she knows all the ins and outs of their routines, likes, and dislikes. And I have every confidence that she loves our pets and genuinely cares for their well being. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in the market for a trust worthy animal care professional!"

What my clients say:

"I have been using Jill for more than 6 mths, and I knew the moment I met her my dogs would be well taken care of!!! My little dog is very nervous with new people, and she took the time to earn his love and trust and now he absolutely loves her!!
She has been a savior when they have been sick and I can not get out of work; definitely a huge help as I am a single woman!!!
When I take stay-cation time, I have to arrange for her to still come see the dogs or they get depressed not seeing her happy face and positive attitude. Jill is overall a great dog walker and I am very lucky to have been able to grab her when I did!!!! I would recommend her to anyone!!!"

"Jill is my pups favorite visitor! Always accommodating to us, with flexible availability, on long or short notice. And more importantly, cares for Rocky as if he was her own. Always spends time playing, walking, feeding, sharing treats, etc. Updates us with photos, videos, messages. We always know our beloved dog is in the best hands with Jill. "
