About My Business

I was first introduced into the petcare industry while I was still working in healthcare as a nurse. I have always had a passion for health and wellness overall! When I became attached to the pets I was seeing at my part time petcare gig, and no longer wanted to be in healthcare was when I realized it was time to make a change. That was back in 2016. Since then I’ve worked in boarding facilities, dog daycare facilities, retail, grooming, and more! I wanted to truly understand pet owners overall. When my best friend wanted me to join her in her pet sitting business I didn’t hesitate. It was the best decision I made! Unfortunately I lost my best friend, and business partner unexpectedly to cancer. I had to close our business and start fresh. But I wasn’t about to abandon our dream, thus, Always With Alex LLC was born! We are not just any sitters or walkers, we are PET NANNY’S. We believe in our community! We are huge on continuity of care to truly grow a lasting and trusting relationship between you, your pets, and your nanny. In order for this process to work for everyone trust is the biggest factor. We both have to have trust in one another, so having consistency in care to make that achievable is a our top priority! We strive to continue our education yearly to make sure we are up to date in the latest in health, wellness, basic illness, first aid and cpr, basic anatomy, and more! While our business is new, I have been doing this for almost 8 years now and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! My Nanny’s all feel the same way, we do this because it’s what we LOVE. Passion & teamwork makes the dream work! Our Nanny’s are skilled in high stress situations, and most of our clients have high energy, large breed dogs. That’s our specialty, as we have most experience with German Shepard’s, Malinois, Great Danes, Mastiffs, Pitbulls, Newfoundlands, Huskies, Australian Cattle dog, and SO many more! We are also trained in Cat care, basic Cat anatomy, and basic health and wellness! Just ask our kitty clients, they love us! ;).
