Jenn Jones, BSc Owner/Operator

Jenn is the bones of Furry Friends and with her 30+ years of experience you can expect exceptional customer service and pet care. Jenn’s whole background has been in animal husbandry in some form or another.

From a young age, Jenn was bringing home sick or injured animals, and sometimes a snake or two just to freak her mom out! Jenn has always had an affinity for animals and hence has worked with many different animals throughout her entire life. Jenn lived on a farm, raising cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats – you name it, she had it! She also lived on a working cattle ranch in the Interior of BC, this was one of her dream jobs, it was amazing working with the cattle and riding the thousands of acres of rangeland. After ranching, Jenn decided to pursue university, graduating with a Bachelor in Science, specializing in Evolution and Ecology. While attending SFU, Jenn worked at three different vet clinics on the North Shore, with her last position as Hospital Manager. In 2000, Jenn decided it was high time to strike out on her own, creating Furry Friends & More Pet Services. It just seemed like a natural fit for her, she had been taking care of animals for her whole life. Jenn has never looked back and today Furry Friends & More is now Furry Friends & Company.

Furry Friends & Co. strives to give back to the community we live in not only by donating money to charities (human and animal), and donating many hours of our time volunteering for different organizations, but also giving women and men living on the North Shore the chance to earn a decent, living wage.

Furry Friends may have changed services throughout the years but one thing has always remained the same: exceptional pet care service…always.
