About My Business

Hello,

My name is Megan Plummer. I am the owner/operator of Megan's Pals Pet-Sitting Service. Ever since I was a little girl I've had a fondness for animals of all kinds. Whether furry, feathered, or scaled, I wanted my life to be surrounded by these wonderful critters. Growing up in Silver Spring, Maryland my home was never without pets. Dogs filled my days with unconditional love and companionship while reptiles and rodents provided endless fascination. Feathered friends were part of the family as well. My favorite activities were romping with my dogs, nuzzling my parakeet as he sang in my ear, and watch in awe as my pet python slithered through my fingers. I enjoyed various volunteer opportunities with animals such as working with the Keepers at the National Zoo and walking dogs at the local animal shelter.

As an adult my love for animals hasn't changed. I am now married with two children and a home full of pets. I decided to start my own pet sitting/dog walking service after moving to Olney in 2001. With a passion for this kind of work it was easy to provide experienced reliable care. Word of mouth spread and referrals started to pour in.

Megan's Pals now has 5 additional amazing pet care givers/walkers. Our specialty is midday exercise walks for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Exercise intensity is based on the individual needs of each and every client. Medication administration and specialized care is handled professionally by our team. Together we are happily serving our furry friends in the Olney/Brookeville area. We are insured and bonded with excellent references.
