Animal Experience:

Llamas & Alpacas: Embraced every aspect of animal husbandry for over 25+ years with these terrific camelids including: Breeding, birthing, training, rescue/fostering, showing, grooming, veterinary care, backpacking, education, fiber judge & fiber artist.

Dogs: Volunteer[ed] for multiple “Basset Hound” rescue groups throughout the USA & performed tasks such as: accepting/accessing dog behavior/issues/conditions, fostering dogs in our home environment, performed on-site visits for possible “forever home” applicants, as well as place[d] dogs to compatible/loving homes. Past employee at a dog walking/pet sitting service located in Douglas County.

Horses: Volunteered at Terolyn Horse Rescue, Elizabeth, CO. Performed tasks such as cleaning of stalls, grooming, exercising the horses, feeding, assisting with vet care, etc.

Took riding lessons on wild mustang horses rescued from the BLM program’s wild horse sanctuary & these horses were professionally trained in Golden, CO.

Miscellaneous Animals Etc. I have been a proud owner/guardian/caregiver for a diverse range of

Animals including: Llamas, alpacas, pygmy goats, cats, rabbits, dogs, a prairie dog, birds, ducks, squirrels, hamsters, a large lizard & even a monkey! Volunteered at The Wild Animal Sanctuary (TWAS), Keenesburg, CO. Participated in the training

program to be a docent/ambassador to educate the public about TWAS; prepared various feed for a variety of animals including lions, tigers, & bears!

Provide[d] custom made beaded jewelry items for the Prairie Dog Coalition, Max Fund, Hope Held By a Horse, The Animal Protective League, & The Humane Society.

Volunteer at the CO Pet Pantry.
