About My Business

My love of animals began at a very young age. In 1995 I began volunteering at a local wildlife sanctuary, who after a few months hired me as staff. After two years, I accepted a job as a veterinary assistant at a small animal hospital. I became a kennel manager there within a year. In 2004 a friend of mine persuaded me to come help her open a pet resort in Sarasota, FL. While managing the pet resort, I attended Academy of Animal Arts in Largo, FL to obtain my pet groomer certification. I left the pet care industry in 2007 to begin a family and have been grooming and pet sitting from home ever since. I now have three teenage children that I homeschool and who often join me on my pet care visits. I currently am owned by a nine year old wheaten mix, a 30 year old amazon parrot, and a 19 year old arabian cross horse. With over 20 years of experience, I guarantee to provide your pet the same level of care as I would my own.
