About My Business

Monica has been heavily involved with pets her entire life. From growing up with pets, to trying to save all the insects and critters that were injured over her lifetime, to starting up a pet rehoming organization with her husband, volunteering at the Rowlett Animal Shelter and serving on their Shelter Board, to jumping in to help search and rescue many missing pets during the 2015 tornado of Rowlett. She also began to pet sit for friends, family and co-workers for fun starting back in the late 90's. In April of 2016 she answered God's calling for her to go all in with pet sitting. July 2016 she left corporate America and never looked back. She and Rick started Roxie's Pet Sitting, LLC. By Thanksgiving 2017 Rick dove-in full-time as well and they are now stronger than ever.

Roxie's is a family/veteran/woman-owned business, based out of Rockwall, TX with a team of 15+ employees. The business was named in loving memory of their beloved Boxer, Roxie, that earned her wings in Nov. 2015. Now her memory is honored each and every day through the loving service that the Roxie's team provides to community pet families.

Roxie's serves the cities surrounding Lake Ray Hubbard in Texas: Fate, Heath, Garland, McLendon-Chisholm, Mesquite, Rockwall, Rowlett, Royse City, Sachse, Sunnyvale & Wylie.
