Buckaroo Buddies Pet Care is a professional pet sitting and dog walking company serving Far West San Antonio, Texas. Since 2020, our Buckaroo Crew has provided personalized, reliable in-home pet care designed around each pet’s individual routine, personality, and comfort.

From dog walking and recurring midday visits to vacation pet sitting, cat sitting, drop-in visits, and overnight pet care, we help San Antonio pet parents feel confident knowing their animals are receiving attentive, knowledgeable care in the comfort of home. We care for dogs and cats as well as rabbits, rodents, reptiles, fish, and other companion pets.

What makes Buckaroo Buddies different is our commitment to professional standards and compassionate, low-stress care. Owner Janie Phillips is a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) through Pet Sitters International and Fear Free Certified, and every member of our pet-care team is Pet First Aid & CPCR trained before working with pets. Our Buckaroo Crew also participates in ongoing education in pet behavior, safety, and professional pet care.

Clients receive detailed visit updates and photos, consistent communication, and care tailored to their pets—not a one-size-fits-all checklist. Whether we're stopping by for a weekday Trail Walk, making Ranch Rounds while a family is traveling, or settling in for Homestead Care overnight, our goal is the same: exceptional care for pets and genuine peace of mind for their people.
