Leslie's Leashes Dog Walking, Pet Sitting and Boarding, is a full-service pet care company located in Long Island, New York. Whether you need dog walking, pet sitting, pet transportation or boarding, Leslie and her staff care for your pets like they are their own! You can leave your worries behind with Leslie's Leashes. We are fully insured and bonded and we do background checks on all of our pet care specialists. We have been in service since 2012 on the North Shore of Long Island, New York, including Port Washington, Manhasset, Roslyn, Great Neck and surrounding areas. We offer an free initial meeting. Founder Leslie Stern is the proud mother of two human children and the pet mother of five-year old cats, Tom and Jerry, Josie, a terrier/poodle rescue and Stella the hedgehog. Leslie has always had animals in her life and shares her passion and love with every animal she meets. When not running her business, Leslie volunteers at her local animal shelter and is a dog handler, walking shelter dogs waiting for their furever homes. Leslie is also a member of the American Pet Professionals organization and frequently does community outreach events (like "Bagels and Barks in the Park" and fundraisers to help animals in need.
