About My Business

My name is Rochelle Beckel, C.P.P.S. Certified Professional Pet Sitter through PSI, Certified Pet Tech Instructor and Owner/Founder of Pawsitive Purfection Pet Sitting & Services, LLC since 2008. My golden retriever Alex inspired me to start the business! Back in August of 2006, I found out some devastating news. Our Alex was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. Through the course of the next 9 months, I was so thankful to spend quality time with him as he was undergoing Chemotherapy and still enjoying his life to the fullest. One of the veterinary technicians once told me, "In my next life, I want to come back as one of your dogs." That is the best compliment I have ever received. Alex passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2007 and from that point on, I knew I wanted to focus my efforts on making a difference for animals and the people that think of them like one of their family. The idea of Pawsitive Purfection Pet Sitting & Services, LLC was formed!

Whether you need a midday walk for your active pup or visits during your vacation, we provide professional supervision and loving attention. We care for your pet and home as if it is our own. We have a staff of Pet Care Associates who receive not only on-the-job shadowing of experienced care givers, but also complete online training modules in animal behavior, care and safety through PSI’s new subscription service. Our staff is also trained to handle pet emergencies (such as choking, spurting blood, & poisoning) in Pet Tech CPR & First Aid class.

We are excited to be the first in the Lehigh Valley offering Pet Tech Pet CPR/First Aid classes to our list of services! Classes are scheduled throughout the year and held at LCCC or they can be done privately for a group at your site.
