About My Business

Our Story

Working with animals has come easily and naturally for me ever since I can remember. For over 10 years I worked as a veterinary technician, and in March 2007 the idea for The Pet Lady began. Initially, I served to help clients at different clinics in which I worked, who needed veterinary technician assistance at home. However, once I started caring for the many different types of pets in their home environments, I was able to see the side of them that their mom and dad saw instead of the scared or upset side at the clinic. These home visits allowed me to bond in a deeper way with the animals, and I became very close with my clients and their pets. Having found my purpose, I had a vision to grow and develop The Pet Lady! As the years passed and the business grew, I have had the pleasure to add on additional sitters that are absolutely AMAZING.
