About My Business

I have had over 25 years experience in the pet field, currently expanding my education by taking online courses and certifications have a wonderful rapport with my clients!

I offer many services and pricing varies dependent upon the needs of your pet, the frequency and the quantity of animals. Each situation is very different so I like to chat with you regarding the services you’re looking for and from there set up a meet and greet so we can put faces to names, and I can meet your precious family member(s)!

I currently offer Pet boarding in my home, doggy play dates in my home, dog walking, drop in visits to your home to feed/walk or play with your animals, plant watering both inside and outside, pooper scooper services, I’m happy to bring your dog to the vet or pick up pet food when I go to the pet supply store. I have taken care of many kinds of animals from household pets, reptiles, snakes, birds, farm animals and horses. And open to others as well! This is my true passion, I can feel the vibe of the animal and connect with them. Hence my business name pets and plants are my two loves and they are my happy place!

My qualifications result in years of having many different types of pets in my household but also farm sitting for many of my friends and neighbors. I had an equine business for several years where I would exercise and feed as well as take care of their farms and family animals while the owner is away. I worked in a vet for many years running the back kennels, minimal grooming and bathing, taking in many strays and rehabilitating them (which was my favorite part)! I’ve assisted in surgeries, bloodwork and more plus knowledgeable in Med administration. I have pet sit for friends, friends of friends and neighbors my whole life and I’m so thankful to have made this a lucrative business to share with you all!

When your pet is in my care, I will send you pictures, updates and let you know asap if I feel there is any concerns regarding the health or wellbeing of your pet (anxiety, lethargy, destruction, abnormal poo/urine or if I feel it’s in their best interest to see a vet). I email every client a vet release page to allow vet care if necessary but you will be the first to know all details and approve this prior to.

My cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to boarding and drop in visits and I require 24 hours for play dates and the smaller needs otherwise I will need to charge you accordingly.

Please note that I do many services in my home that is well lived in and loved with serving many animals including my two dogs and my two children. Your animals to board and do play dates in my home must be:

•Dog and Kid friendly

• Up to date on all vaccinations necessary for their age ( I require an emailed copy of their latest vacc records prior to services in my home to ensure the safety of everyone!
