About My Business

As proud members of Pet Sitters International, we believe it is important to use a professional pet sitter or dog walker. We have been working in professional pet care since 2008 and founded Stable Hands Pet Care & Services in Virginia Beach in 2015. We are fully licensed, bonded, insured, and certified in pet first aid and CPR.

Over the years, we have cared for a wide range of pets and situations. Our experience includes everything from easygoing family dogs to senior pets, diabetic cats, pets with mobility challenges, and households with specialized feeding or medication routines. We have also cared for more unique pets, including sugar gliders, alpacas, and tortoises. Experience matters, and we bring that experience into every visit.

Once you contact us, the onboarding process is simple. We create your client profile and schedule a call to arrange a meet and greet. This gives us a chance to learn your pet’s routine, understand your needs, and begin building a care plan that fits. Through that partnership, we are able to provide thoughtful, reliable care and give you peace of mind while you are at work or away from home.
