About My Business

When I started Joanne Ballack The Pet Concierge my vision was to provide quality pet care for animals while staying in the comfort of their own home.

While boarding a pet it has its place it just isn't suited for everyone's pet.

I realized early on that each family and their pets are unique, so my goal became to customize each clients care to give their pet their most comfortable and healthy "Staycation" while their families are away.

As I am very particular about my own pets needs, I take my role as temporary caretaker very seriously.

I feel that I go above and beyond what is expected in a pet care provider and try to anticipate things the owners may not have thought of when preparing for a business trip or vacation.

My attention also follows through to the care of my clients homes. Many joke that they are cleaner than they left them!

Primarily I do all of the visits myself however occasionally if the need arrises I will book another pet sitter who I know and respect very much. Of course with the owners permission.

This career is following on the footsteps of a very lengthy dance career and Studio owner. I find that the same tools of discipline and managing my time apply to both.

If I am booked to be at a clients home at a specific time I am there. To be late to start a dance class is unacceptable as is being late for a pup that needs to go out, be fed or take medication.

Each of my clients hold a special place in my heart and when a booking comes to an end I am always a little sad to leave but look forward to the next time!
