About My Business

Hi, I'm Josephine and I've own Home Sweet Home Sitters, LLC since 1998. I've been a Dutchess County resident for 33 years. I spent 8 years as a dog control officer, and I am a wildlife rehabber. I am also building an educational and rehabilitation center for both pets and wildlife which should open in 2017. I am a certified professional pet sitter (CPPS). After a number of years working as one of my pet sitter, my son, John, became a partner in March 2017. We offer midday dog walks, vacation pet sitting coverage and pet taxi. We are both bonded and insured. I am certified in CPR & first aid for pets. We administer medication which includes insulin injections. Visits are approximately 30 minutes in length. Our working hours are 7 AM to 8 PM. We are available week days and weekends. We work holidays for an additional $10 holiday surcharge. We recommend booking holidays early.
