2024 Pet Sitter World Educational Conference Details

Your 2024 Pet Sitter World registration includes:

  • Your PSW24 tote bag + attendee notebook and name badge
  • Access to the PSW24 Welcome & Awards Ceremony + all general sessions
  • Happy Hour on September 19 (complimentary drink ticket for wine, beer, or non-alcoholic drink provided) 
  • Lunch on September 20 and a continental breakfast on September 21

Please note: Your registration fee does not include your hotel, transportation, or optional events.  The optional pet first aid workshop on 9/19 and the charity BINGO on 9/20 are not included in your general registration and are additional costs. You will be provided information to sign up for those events after you register.

Certified Professional Pet Sitters: You earn 24 CEUs for attending the PSW24 conference sessions. You can earn an additional 8 CEUs for the Pet First Aid, CPR & CPCR optional workshop.

PSI's 2024 conference will be held at the Sheraton Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, NY). Learn more about the hotel and group room block here. We encourage you to make your room reservation a.s.a.p. as space is limited.

Teoti Anderson

Teoti Anderson

Teoti Anderson is a certified professional dog trainer and co-owner of A Dog’s Best Friend in Fort Lauderdale, FL. A professional dog trainer for more than 30 years, she is the author of the books The Dog Behavior Problem Solver, DogFancy Ultimate Guide to Dog Training, Puppy Care and Training, The Super Simple Guide to Housetraining, and more. She also is a regular columnist for Modern Dog magazine and has been interviewed for Southern Living, New York Times, DogFancy, Puppies USA, Whole Dog Journal and other national publications. A popular conference speaker, she has given presentations to pet owners, humane organizations, and fellow trainers across the United States, and in Japan and Mexico. Teoti has extensive education and experience in working with a variety of canine issues, in cluding serious cases of fear and aggression. For more than two decades, Teoti served as a volunteer with Pet Partners, the leading national therapy animal organization. She served as an instructor and evaluator for potential therapy teams, and also worked on several national Pet Partner committees. With a variety of her personal pets, including a Papillon, Labradors, and one very special cat, she has visited with children with disabilities, seniors, hospice patients, emergency room patients, and more.

Mike Bober

Mike Bober

Mike Bober joined the Pet Advocacy Network as the Vice President of Government Affairs in 2013 and has led the Council’s advocacy efforts ever since. In January of 2016, he was named President and CEO. To spread the word about the power of pets and the benefits of the human-animal bond, Mike and the team at the Pet Advocacy Network have established or expanded several popular events on Capitol Hill including Pet Night, therapy animal interactions, and an annual legislative fly-in for the pet care community. In the early days of COVID-19 response, they led the nationwide effort to ensure that pet retailers and service providers were included as “essential” businesses and permitted to remain open as closures went into effect across the country. Mike was named one of the pet industry’s “Forty Under 40” by Pet Age in 2016. In 2020, the World Pet Association presented him with their Pawsitive Impact Award, and he was included in Pet Age’s “Power 50” lists in 2021 and 2022. The National Institute of Lobbying & Ethics named him as a “Top Lobbyists of 2021,” and last year he was recognized by Association Trends as a “2022 Leading Association Lobbyist.” He is a former Jeopardy! champion who sometimes answers in the form of a question and a Certified Barbecue Judge on the KCBS circuit. He and his family welcomed Scruffles, their cocker spaniel, as one of the earliest pandemic pups in April of 2020.

Denise Fleck is the Pet Safety Crusader™, having taught 31,000 humans animal life-saving skills. Her mission is to help YOU make a difference in the life of an animal through her pet first-aid, senior pet care and disaster preparedness classes. Denise has appeared on television, radio and in magazines, and has authored more than a dozen books. Tori Mistick

Tori Mistick is a leader in the pet industry, blending her roles as an educator, podcaster, and founder of the award-winning dog blog, Wear Wag Repeat. With her extensive background in digital marketing, she's fostered a thriving community of pet lovers. Tori's insights on her blog and social media often draw from her expertise as a canine enrichment specialist. As a podcast host, she spotlights women petpreneurs, emphasizing her commitment to empowering women in the pet world. Beyond the pet industry, Tori is an Adjunct Professor of Communications at Point Park University. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA, where she shares her life with two very active senior chocolate labs, Burt and Lucy.

Bobbi Wilson

Bobbi Wilson

Bobbi Wilson is the owner of Peace Love Paws Pet Sitters, LLC, in Columbia MO and earned her CPPS-Certified Professional Pet Sitter® designation through Pet Sitters International in 2018. She was named PSI's 2024 Pet Sitter of the Year. Bobbi was a home inspector for 10 years and was the only female ASHI/AHIT certified home inspector in Mid-Missouri. Bobbi held board office seats eight years with her local home inspection chapter and was in leadership in the ASHI National Organization in 2016, inspecting over 1,000 homes in her career. Bobbi is a powerful force when it comes to the safety of pets and their homes. Bobbi has worked both businesses with her husband and they feel their knowledge of home safety helps their pet parents find comfort in selecting them as pet sitters.

Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson, CPPS, Peace Love Paws Pet Sitters- co-owner professional pet sitter and dog walker and retired ASHI/AHIT home inspector.  Scott was a home inspector for a decade in Columbia, MO sighting safety and failed issues regarding homes and property.
