Pet Sitters International names 2022 Pet Sitter of the Year™
Morgan Andenas Weber, owner of Lucky Pup Adventures in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has received the professional pet-sitting industry’s highest honor and will represent the industry throughout 2022.
KING, N.C. (December 1, 2021)—Pet Sitters International (PSI) has named Morgan Andenas Weber, owner of Lucky Pup Adventures in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the 2022 Pet Sitter of the Year™. PSI, the world’s largest educational association for professional pet sitters, presents this award annually to a pet-sitting business owner who embodies the passion and professionalism of the pet-sitting industry.
“Our association membership is made up of the most professional, educated and passionate pet-care business owners in this global industry, so selecting a winner for this award is no easy task for the judging panel,” said PSI President Beth Stultz-Hairston. “However, Morgan’s commitment to her clients and their pets, her team members and her business—along with her desire to support others and elevate our industry—makes her an ideal recipient of the honor this year.”
“We know that she will be a source of inspiration and motivation for fellow pet-care professionals as the 2022 Pet Sitter of the Year,” added Stultz-Hairston.
As PSI’s 2022 Pet Sitter of the Year, Weber will serve as the “face of the professional pet-sitting industry” throughout 2022 and be officially recognized at PSI’s 2022 Pet Sitter World Educational Conference in Cleveland, Ohio, in the fall.
“Being named Pet Sitter of the Year offers a platform and partnership with significant responsibility,” said Weber. “As Pet Sitter of the Year my goal is to bring more awareness to professional in-home pet care while representing the standard of PSI’s pet-sitting community.”
Weber began pet sitting part-time in 2013 while working as an architect-in-training. She went full-time with her business, Lucky Pup Adventures, in 2018 and joined PSI that same year.
In addition to offering professional pet-care services to approximately 200 families in the Sioux Falls area, Weber and her team—which includes her husband and four employees—are very active in their local community. They hosted their first-ever Pet Parent Expo in conjunction with a local Subaru dealership this past summer, and Weber is a monthly recurring guest covering pet-care topics on a local lifestyle television program and hosts a weekly room inside the Dog Lovers Club on the Clubhouse platform.
Sharing her pet knowledge with her team, their clients and the local community is an integral component of Weber’s business model and her mission to live out her company’s motto, “Live Full, Live Happy.”
“We know that with a little knowledge, some expert tips, and a strong community of fellow pet lovers, everyone’s family can ‘Live Full, Live Happy’—together,” shared Weber.
